Getting ready for the Transat AG2R

Tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday we will be out training with the squad at Port La Foret. These are our last two days of official training before the start of the AG2R! Time is flying by as usual..... but Romain and I are pretty much ready - and so is SAVEOL!!

This weekend has been a "rest" weekend, and unfortunately for me my body realised that and succumbed to an attack by the common cold - atishooooo! So much for making the most of a couple of days off! Lucky I hadn't planned to do the Easter regatta or Spi Ouest!!

Last week we finished off the jobs on SAVEOL. I have printed out the weather fax schedules and checked out the access to Maxsea Chopper (the only weather info we are allowed by the rules.) The food for the race (we've taken 23 days of food!!) is packed and ready to go on board. I am pretty impressed by the amount of chocolate that Romain "needs" for three weeks!!!!! Luckily we will have a nice pack of tomatoes and strawberries to make up for that!
