Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb and Pippa Wison are my new heros!
They achieved Olympic Gold yesterday in the Yngling class - an amazing achievement.
I know how hard the comnpetition is on the Yngling circuit as I spent a few months sailing in this class myself. These girls are some of the best sailing technicians and tacticians in the world. Bravo, bravo, bravo!

These girls are the perfect inspiration for me as I get closer to the Vendee Globe. The proof that hard work, determination and a solid team really does pay off. Maybe worth sticking a photo of them at my chart table to remind me of that during the tough 3 months......

Respect!

(Not forgetting Ben Ainslie's achievement, of course! Congrats Ben!!! but I can't help cheering for the girls first!!!)
